All that bird watching had me working on a project I've been wanting to try for a long time......not that it was a difficult task, just way too far down on the To-Do List......
Garden bunting using my stash of "hankies" that I am sure all came as gifts from my nan. Hanging them this morning was a little emotional as well as satisfying to finish something on my list.

ReplyDeleteI have to make one of these but haven't figured it out. Do I sew 2 pieces of fabric together right sides together leaving the top open, turn it in the right way then join them all together with bias binding??
ReplyDeletewhat a nice piece! I love hankies. But I use them for my nose rather than bunting! I love it though. That one with the rose embroidery in the corner is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI admired them in your garden today and how bad i am that i didnt say so at the time.. I love it might have to do one with all my hankies that nan gave me!!! They all sit in my knicker draw!!!!
