Didn't make it to the dawn service...

But did get to the local march and parade........it was good to take some time to remember those who have helped give our nation it's freedom .

 ....and

to share with the next generation what all this meant.

ANZAC

I dragged my poorly hubbie out of bed later this afternoon and we headed out to remind the kids what exactly we were having a day off for.....

They shall grow not old, as we that are left to grow old

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.
