We had some "indi" film making going on at our house today.......
This could be showing at a cinema near you!
Not sure of the rating ....due to some dubious stars!

Change of Pace

The weather had really set in today so all plans for outside work were put on hold...probably a good thing as Derek really needed to give his back a rest.
So we wanted to give the kids something to say thanks for being so good all week...we decided to let them chose a movie to buy and go and do a little retail therapy.
So movies were chosen..Meg-Nancy Drew Movie, Fraser- The Lego Movie( surprisingly good)
Derek purchased a new WII game and me I was happy with some new wool from Spotlight.
We did have some other fun along the way....

This really was a beanie we found in a very trendy surf shop!!! No we didn't buy it !
Meg's choice for trying on was much more conservative.

What is a morning shopping without the coffee break!

A new favourite

I am not one who is really into game shows with silly games but this one has caught my attention......and that of our whole family.
I can see all those who run kid's programmes just loving the long list of games that can be so easily played and used to entertain kids....this is one Children's Pastor who will be trying one or two this Sunday!

Too Funny...

What happens when you don't listen to ya mumma!!!

After yesterdays cleverness on his bike......this was the result of riding on the deck 10 minutes before we were to leave for school...."but mum I didn't get my sore head wet!!!!"- he was drenched from his toes to his shoulders.
After I took the photos I gave him a telling off for not doing as he was told then proceeded to laugh and laugh( I admit I even sent photos to Derek and shared them with friends throughout the day)
After having two daughters this boy thing is certainly proving to be an interesting and never dull ride.

No Eectricity

Yesterday we were experiencing a very very hot day and much to our dismay when we returned home in the afternoon- no power.
This was to be the case for 9 hours. The kids, especially Fraser were at a loss with all the things that suddenly didn't work around the house.
So the movie maker in the family set about producing a documentary to educate her younger brother.
