Another fun Idea

We had our last MOPS meeting today.....

and we each got a little gift.....

How cool is a disposable apron!

It is made by sewing a basic waistband onto a layer of festive paper napkins. The idea being you tear off a layer each time you use it. There five layers on this one.

I just love the novelty of it and of course aprons get me every time.

The apron under the disposable one can be found in my shop.

My Creative Space

We have had lots of this today....which I think is making everyone in this house a little tired ,grumpy and under the "weather"..

So apart from some mass "chair sash" making for a friend my creative space was at our MOPS group yesterday in which I was responsible for heading up the creative session.

We made these cute mug cosies....

The mug was from IKEA,and the cosy idea came from the magazine Better Homes and Gardens.

This was the perfect craft for the mums...it was quick, only involved a tiny bit of hand stitching and it was colourful. (now just what to do with the rest of the sock)

Cake in a mug?

With the school term off and running it is time for all the other things that keep me busy during the week to start back...
Today was MOPS and we had an inspirational talk on how we sometimes can be polar opposites with our partner and if that is the case not to despair but there is a way to make it all work beautifully.
Waiting for us at the create time was all the ingredients to make a
"Chocolate Cake in A Mug"
The idea being all the dry ingredients are in the mug which we packaged up nicely and attached a list of the remaining wet ingredients and how to cook it in the microwave for 5 mins.
Before I left my workplace I had decided that someone needed that sweet fix more than I and so gifted them with it.
I will though be trying my own very soon as they were so easy to whip up and would make a fabulous gift.
