When not to knit....

Last week I spotted this scenario in the carpark at work.......

 

 I promptly sent a text to the owner suggesting that there could be some danger in knitting whilst driving.......

This was her reply to me.......

Actually my sister was using her time wisely while waiting for others to arrive.....she tells me a dishcloth can be finished quite quickly during all those minutes waiting in a car.

This morning we woke to find our visitor clearly showing signs of missing his much cooler climates....

December 20 {Thankful #20}

{ Blog 25 days of being Thankful..... this as a way of staying focused on the good , happy and pleasing moments....

it's a way of acknowledging all that we take for granted, all that we sometimes overlook as we let busyness take over.}

Today I am thankful for .....

All my crafting of pressies is done.....most if not all of the present buying is done......

Most of the pre Christmas dining is done......

So I found myself hunting for my sticks...

knitting needles

nothing to taxing or tricky - I'm not that accomplished 

but just some rhythmic clicking  away is what I was feeling like...

Yeah for a little space to do something a little slower.

My Creative Space

While doing my grocery shopping I came upon the largest balls of wool I have ever seen.

They were in the most loveliest of colours and so soft....

I know, perfect for my mission to have four baby blankets/quilts by November.

 

So in with the groceries went two balls....

 

Nothing too difficult just a baby blanket....knit back and forwards till I have used all the wool.

There are enough colours in it I think to pass off for either a niece or nephew.
