A couple of weeks ago I was given by a dear friend, large bags of goodies that had come from her Mother in Laws estate....
I sorted on quick glance the things I would keep and those I would gift away...like two garbage bags full of wool to another friend.
It wasn't till this week that I have had the chance to take a close look at the contents.
At the bottom of one of the bags, I found this pattern....
All the pieces were pinned to fabric and cut ready for sewing....
So knowing that this lady has a great-granddaughter who would fit this dress I set to work ...
hmmm a little challenging for me but I persevered hoping that the sentiment would overlook the faults in my construction of the dress......
I am passing it on today...
just a little way to say thanks for gifting me with some lovely fabrics and linen to keep me happy for a while.
