Teddy Leggo was lucky to dine with "Tiddy" who I must say has had a very quiet weekend so far with the visitor around.
Being cooped up inside makes everyone want to eat more, so I made this super quick recipe that was given to me by a kindy mum.
Choc Chip Slice
Choc Chip Slice
125g butter
1cup soft brown sugar
1 egg beaten
1 cup choc chips or for a variation 1 cup of sultanas
1 1/2 cup of self raising flour
Preheat oven to 190 c
Grease 20cm x 30cm Tin
Melt butter in saucepan
Add sugar and stir until dissolved
Remove from heat and cool for a few minutes
Mix in egg, choc chips/sultanas
and flour
Mix well
Press into prepare tin
Bake for 20 mins or until golden brown
Cool before cutting into squares or bars
Done in about 30 mins start to finish ( even Derek said to post this because it was so delicious!)
