Things to do when......

....it is colder outside than yesterday.....

plus it is wet and dark.......

...and no one wants to go anywhere....

  1. Sneak a little sewing time while everyone is otherwise -watching movies, playing games on the computer or fiddling in their music studio.......

2. Send the man of the house out for snacks and then rally the troops for a "FRIENDLY" game of monopoly.......

 Then spend the next two hours cajoling everyone to play fair, nice and "unstropulous"!!!!!

3. Dig out the 24 year old wedding present fondue set and teach the "youngens" the art of dipping sweet things into warm drippy chocolate......

I am pleased to say this required no cajoling....or included any stroppy,unfair play....

we were challenged as to why this idea had never been thought of before in their short lives......and could we do this every night??????

Well at least we found something that brought complete smiles to their faces for the whole duration of the activity......

No really we are having a blast being on holidays...
Love my kids to pieces ...
{had to laugh at my little guy reading yesterdays post out loud and being absolutely horrified and requested I remove the whinging reference!!!!!}

  1. Good Morning Bron, I just wanted to say thank you for stopping by and taking my vintage trailer tour. Yes, these ladies really have worked at dolling up their little homes on wheels. It looks like you are having a great time with your family. You mentioned music room . . . I started another blog called Strumming & Singing. It is just going to be a weekly post containing a song with chords and lyrics. If you go to my profile page you can find it there. Have a wonderful week . . . Connie :)

    I hate monopoly for that very reason - talk about art imitating life, and what a great idea with the fondue!
