We didn't spend all our time by the pool......
we felt strongly about exploring this culture with the kids.......
the people are gentle , friendly and love tourists......
we explored temples, monkey forests, batik artistry, a family wood carving business, saw the rice paddies, and the locals doing what they do every day......
We had the most fantastic guide that looked after us all week.....well when we decided to leave the hotel..... he shared his Bali with us and gave us so much local knowledge......
I think we gave the kids a great insight into this fascinating little part of the world and they took it in their stride really well.
