One thing the hubby loves to do is sing ditty's to the kids.....he sings them until they are either annoyed or intrigued as to what the song is....
Some times they are made up other times they are a variation of an old song we knew growing up.....
Here are two that have captured the attention of the kids this week.....and asked to have them sung repeatedly....

My dad is very musical and we grew up in the same way as your kids, family singalongs and carol evenings, piano lessons and performances and jams were all part of it. I appreciate that kind of upbringing far more now than I ever really did being there.
ReplyDeleteyes we have loads. But currently the 4yr old is making up lullabies to sing to the 1 yr old. It's funny but he does a good job.
