Sorry just a few words needed.....
Yesterday we here in Western Australia experienced a storm...wild wild weather that thrashed our little suburbs......oh my goodness nothing like I have ever remembered.........
neighbour hood destruction...
no power for nearly 24 hours
no phone connection for just as long
many more worse off than us ....but boy were we a little worried......
our yard took a battering.....
we had our garage door blown in ......
This was the scene this morning down at one of our local beaches.....
This was the pumpkin scone that was in the oven when we lost the power...hence I didn't get to take anything to the family birthday celebrations were were supposed to be at.....
We did send the kids off to school this am despite neither school having any power......More wild weather is supposedly on it's way over the next day .......
Nothing like storms and destruction to draw neighbors out and chatting either.

Wow, you did get a lot of storm damage, we are up in the Perth hills and so far we are ok and still have power though it is very windy.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see you survived okay - we were fortunate with no lose of power and only a few snapped branches - fingers crossed the next 24hrs delivers the same and not what has been forecast and that it blows itself out by our Friday!

Hey Bron, each news report that mentioned the storm I thought of you and your family and hoped that you were all right.......must've been more than a little scarey.
